Legal Administrative Assistant

Compensation: $80,000-$90,000 per year
About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to join their Seattle office and support a busy litigation team.
This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment, has strong attention to detail, and enjoys providing high-level administrative and litigation support. The successful candidate will play a key role in keeping attorneys and legal staff organized while ensuring deadlines, filings, and client communications are handled efficiently and professionally.
What You'll Do
- Provide administrative and litigation support to attorneys and paralegals
- Manage attorney calendars, scheduling, and communications
- Coordinate meetings, conference calls, depositions, and hearings
- Prepare, proofread, and finalize legal documents
- Redact confidential information and ensure document accuracy
- Assist with discovery, exhibit preparation, and bates-stamping
- File documents electronically in state, federal, and appellate courts
- Monitor deadlines and maintain litigation calendars
- Prepare materials for meetings, hearings, depositions, and court appearances
- Coordinate travel arrangements and expense-related administrative tasks
- Process and track vendor payments and settlement checks
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client and case information
- Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, court personnel, and vendors
- Utilize legal technology and case management systems effectively
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience in a law firm or legal environment
- Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and legal administrative support
- Experience with electronic court filings in state and federal courts
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Strong proofreading and document formatting abilities
- Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and discretion
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting multiple attorneys
- Familiarity with appellate court filings
- Experience managing complex attorney calendars
- Knowledge of legal document management systems
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to quickly learn new legal technologies and software
